Loewe beats brands such as Balenciaga, Gucci and Prada to top the ranking of the world’s most desirable brands for the first time.
Just a few hours ago, The Lyst Index (a quarterly ranking of the most popular brands and items in fashion) published its latest index for the second quarter of 2023. Which brand ranked first? Spain’s Loewe -owned by the LVMH group- which for the first time since the list was created has been ranked number one and is positioned as the most desirable and attractive brand in the world, snatching the position that Prada had occupied during the first quarter of this same year for the second consecutive time.
Jonathan Anderson, creative director of the brand since 2013, took a risk and won by increasing searches by 19% during this last quarter thanks to the increase in demand for his Paula’s Ibiza collection, the customized looks for Beyoncé’s Renaissance world tour or the presentation of the Loewe Foundation Craftsmanship Award 2023 in New York.
