Madrid’s Plaza de Colón will host the first edition of the Madrid Beauty Festival on 10 June. A free and open-access urban meeting dedicated to the celebration of self-expression through trends related to beauty and the cosmetics industry.
A route where you can try out new products and treatments on the street, receive advice on sun exposure, attend live tutorials, and participate in meetings that will reflect on the different meanings of beauty. Local retailers, professionals, industry agents and opinion leaders such as Vogue, GQ, Vanity Fair, Glamour, Architectural Digest and Condé Nast Traveler will show the public how they approach beauty from different perspectives in an open, diverse and inclusive way.
This event, which has the collaboration of the Association of Traders of the Salamanca District DISTRITO 41 and the sponsorship of El Corte Inglés, presents a series of talks with the participation of professionals from the sector, as well as editorial managers from Condé Nast Spain. An opportunity to discuss topics such as the breaking down of gender barriers and the new masculinity, overcoming the traditional canons of beauty (such as the body-positive movement), sustainability (such as vegan products), innovation (with techno-beauty and nutricosmetics) or entertainment (such as the new languages derived from platforms like Tik Tok).
