Numa Pompilio en Distrito 41 Madrid
Inaugurated in June 2017, Numa Pompilio is a plush and an elegant Italian restaurant offering one-of-a-kind traditional dishes, mainly from the region of Tuscany. While the guests are ushered in, they walk through the mesmerising open live kitchen and a live station for pasta before reaching the main dining area of the restaurant. This particular space is where windows overlook the rear garden, considered a jewel in the crown of the restaurant. The meticulous decor with kitchen utensils and ware brought specially from Italy, New York and London is romantic and intriguing. The kitchen creates diverse dishes like Sole fish with lemon from Capri, Orechiona with egg and truffle, carpaccio of smoked deer with Pecorino romano and Marsala wine and Agnolotti pasta stuffed with braised pumpkin. Homemade desserts, ice cream and Amarettis cookies alongside exotic cocktails are the essential accompaniments to a menu that combine heritage and innovation.
