This new project by Pepe Caldas, supported by the architect Chus Manzanares, occupies a small cottage in Puigcerdá alleyway. It spreads across 5 well-differentiated areas: it boasts of 2 terraces, one at the entrance and the other one is the chill-out roof top terrace. In the lobby, there is a large macael bar surrounded by informal high tables, then on the main level, where the dining room showcases the live kitchen from the tables and watch the chefs in action, and last but not the least, the extensive wine cellar with radiant vibes than the others.
“It’s a usual tavern but simply so beautiful.” Spinach Croquettes with the perfect white sauce, scrambled eggs, salmorejo (tomato based cold soup), classical irresistible salads, special dish of the day, ruffled potatoes, T-bone steak, variety of fish, fried sea food from the south are some of their delicious dishes. It is perhaps the usual stuff but with a difference like the best quality in a privileged setting.
